An Update from Mr Curtis (29.11.24)

 

So much exciting activity at Hawthorns this week!
The School Council have met for the first time and have sent an important letter to the SLT with some great ideas for their new school.
School photos are happening today.
Pine and Willow Classes have shown off their Gymnastics skills in PE  - balancing in different body shapes (pike, straight, straddle and tuck) and  Sycamore and Chestnut classes went to Samuel Laycock KS2 multi skills festival, lead by SLK young leaders.
We have been celebrating National Tree Week over the last few days in our outdoor Education sessions. Buttercup, Jasmine and Holly classes visited Dunham Massey.
Cooking Club has been great with "Lets get cooking" sessions with families.
Next week is also exciting with the schools Grand Opening Ceremony and we are also hosting a national conference for special schools...
