An Update from Mr Curtis (16.5.25)
An eventful week at Hawthorns.
Hopefully you have all seen our final Ofsetd Report which was received this week– Hawthorns School - Ofsted
I think you will agree it's very positive and something we should all be proud to be part of.
Although, as with any school, we will keep innovating and looking at any developments we can make that add positive impact to our school offer.
It has been an important week of our Y6’s.
Freya, Eliza, Jamie, Ayaan, Haaziq, Ethan and Sylar have worked really hard doing their SATs this week.
Well done to all.
On Wednesday we had a visit from our local Fire Brigade for pupils and families – it was a great morning.
In Holly Class’s writing lessons , the three little pigs needed our help to build a house as the big bad wolf huffed and puffed and blew their other house down.
Holly class became builders and built some fantastic houses!!
Maple and Chestnut Classes have made ‘Scavenger art,’ in outdoor education lessons.
The children in Beech Class visited a farm.
Have a great weekend, all
Jonathan
