We would like everyone to come to school wearing odd or crazy colourful socks to raise awareness of World Downs Syndrome Day.

Children will read, analyse, and find features of the following text types (stories; instructions; factual reports; persuasive writing; diary entries; descriptive writing; character description; letters) drafting, writing and evaluating their own work in the context of the termly theme and incorporating the elements of SPaG (maintaining the correct formation of lower and upper case letters and digits; adding suffixes to nouns and verbs; joining ideas together using linking words; using capital letters, full stops, question and exclamation marks; writing and sequencing sentences; reading through the work to check if it makes sense)
