1:1 iPad Project

Hawthorns School has embarked on an exciting 1-1 iPad project. This means that all our pupils are provided with their own iPad to assist and enhance their learning and journey at Hawthorns.

ICT is important to all Hawthorns School and our vision for ICT is that..

Teaching and learning remains our passion and drives our ambition.
Technology will enliven and enhance our curriculum provision, which will inspire our pupils to become confident, independent and resilient citizens.
To give staff the confidence and competence to exploit the potential that technology provides for the staff.
Technology will help pupils to overcome barriers to their learning and facilitate our children’s specific needs.
We will work towards paperless systems that improves the offer for our learners, further develops communication with families and enables staff to be more efficient with their time.
We will ensure all young people, their families and stakeholders are fully involved in our journey.
